Artisan and Alfresco Grills in Las Vegas

Artisan comes from Alfresco — the company that essentially created the luxury outdoor kitchen category — and the lineage shows. Artisan takes Alfresco's engineering and build standards and offers them at a price that brings commercial-grade outdoor cooking within reach of a normal renovation budget. We carry both brands together here, because in practice customers cross-shop them and it makes no sense to separate them.

The ranges

Alfresco

The premium end. Alfresco's ALXE grills are genuinely commercial-derived — heavy stainless, high burner output, and an all-infrared option that will sear at a temperature most domestic grills cannot approach. The range extends well past grilling into pizza ovens, versatile power burners, woks with proper wok rings, sealed pantries and refrigeration.

Artisan Professional

Alfresco build standards with simpler hardware, in 32, 36 and 42-inch built-ins. This is where most of our customers land, and it is a genuinely strong value in the built-in market.

Artisan American Eagle

The entry line, and a sensible way into the family when the budget needs to stretch across a whole kitchen rather than concentrate in the grill.

Where these ranges are unusual

• Pizza ovens — five in the range, built to integrate into a kitchen rather than stand alone. An outdoor pizza oven is the single feature that most reliably changes how often a family actually uses its outdoor kitchen.
• Wok and power burners — with proper wok rings and enough output to be useful. Rare in domestic outdoor kitchens and genuinely transformative if you cook Asian food.
• Sealed pantry units — five of them. Dust-sealed dry storage is close to essential in the Las Vegas valley and almost nobody plans for it.
• Sinks, faucets and pot fillers — a real plumbing line, which is what separates a kitchen you cook in from a grill you stand at.

Both are on our floor at S Fort Apache. Seeing an Artisan Professional next to an Alfresco ALXE is the fastest way to understand what the step up actually buys — the difference is in the weight and the burner hardware, and it is obvious in person in a way no spec sheet conveys.
