Fire Magic Grills in Las Vegas

Fire Magic has been building grills in Southern California for longer than most outdoor kitchen brands have existed, and it builds them the old way: heavy-gauge 304 stainless, cast stainless burners, and a reputation for lasting decades rather than seasons. It sits at the top of the market with Lynx and Twin Eagles, and it is the grill a surprising number of our customers' parents owned.

We stock the Echelon built-in grills — currently five active models — and can order from the wider Fire Magic catalogue, including the Aurora and Choice lines and the matching doors, drawers and refrigeration, for a complete kitchen.

The Echelon series

Echelon is Fire Magic's flagship, and we stock it in three widths:

Echelon E660i — 30 inches

Three burners. The size that fits most Las Vegas islands, with all of the Echelon construction and none of the compromise that a smaller grill usually means.

Echelon E790i — 36 inches

Three larger burners and the width most people picture when they imagine a built-in grill. The sweet spot of the range for a family that entertains.

Echelon E1060i — 48 inches

Four burners and a cooking area for a crowd. The grill for a kitchen where the host cooks for twenty.

Each width comes in two versions: the Echelon Diamond with a digital thermometer and display, and the "A" Series with an analogue thermometer. The grill underneath is the same; the choice is whether you want electronics in the hood or a gauge that will never need a battery.

What you are paying for

  • Cast stainless burners — the component that fails first on a cheap grill, and the one Fire Magic over-builds.
  • Infrared rotisserie backburner — standard on the Echelon, not an option.
  • Interior lighting and backlit knobs — which, as with every premium grill, sounds cosmetic until the first November evening.
  • Diamond Sear cooking grids — heavy stainless grids designed for a real sear.
  • A warranty with a long reputation behind it — Fire Magic's warranty terms vary by component and change from time to time, so we will go through the current ones for the grill you choose rather than quote them here.

Buying Fire Magic in Las Vegas

Fire Magic is a brand to see before you buy. The hood weight and the grid thickness are the argument, and they are on the floor at our S Fort Apache showroom next to the brands it competes with. We design, fabricate and install complete outdoor kitchens as a licensed Nevada contractor, and because the Echelon is a high-output grill, that includes sizing the gas line correctly — which is the single most common thing a DIY installation gets wrong.

Common Questions

Fire Magic — Common Questions

Where are Fire Magic grills made?

Fire Magic grills are built in Southern California by the company that has made them for decades. It is one of the few premium built-in grill brands still manufacturing in the United States.

What is the difference between the Echelon Diamond and the "A" Series?

The grill is the same. The Echelon Diamond has a digital thermometer and display in the hood; the "A" Series has an analogue thermometer. Choose the Diamond if you like the display and the precision, the "A" Series if you would rather have nothing electronic in the hood that could ever need replacing.

Which Echelon size should I choose?

The 30-inch E660i fits most Las Vegas islands and is the right choice for a family. The 36-inch E790i is the sweet spot for anyone who entertains regularly. The 48-inch E1060i is for cooking for a crowd. The cutout width drives the island design, so decide the grill before the island is drawn.

Can you get Fire Magic doors, drawers and refrigeration to match?

Yes. We stock the Echelon grills and order the matching Fire Magic components — access doors, drawer stacks, side burners, refrigeration — for a complete kitchen in one finish. Lead times vary, so tell us early in the design.

Is Fire Magic worth the price over a mid-range grill?

If you want a grill you will still be using in twenty years, yes: the heavy-gauge 304 stainless and cast burners are what make that possible. If you grill a few times a month and the budget needs to cover the whole island, a Summerset or Blaze with the money saved spent on the kitchen is the better outcome. We will tell you which you are.

Does BBQ Concepts install Fire Magic grills in Las Vegas?

Yes. We are a licensed and insured Nevada contractor handling design, fabrication, gas, electrical and installation in-house. The Echelon is a high-output grill and gas line sizing matters; we do it correctly and have it inspected.
