Delta Heat in Las Vegas

Delta Heat is built by the same company as Twin Eagles, and that is the whole pitch: much of the engineering of a top-of-the-market grill, at a position in the range that leaves money for the rest of the kitchen. For a lot of the islands we build in Las Vegas it is the right answer — a grill that will outlast the stucco around it, without the premium finish you only notice if you own a Twin Eagles.

We carry 55 active Delta Heat products: 18 grills and teppanyaki surfaces, 14 storage pieces, and the burners, jackets, bases and extras that complete a build.

The Delta Heat grills

Three widths — 26, 32 and 38 inches — and three specifications, which Delta Heat labels by letter:

G model — standard

The base grill. 304 stainless, stainless burners, heavy grates, no rotisserie. Available in silver finish.

R model — rotisserie

Adds a rear infrared rotisserie burner and the spit. In silver, black and white, which is unusual: a black or white Delta Heat lets a grill disappear into a dark-stone or light-stucco island rather than sit on it as a steel block.

RS model — rotisserie and sear burner

The R model plus an infrared sear zone. This is the one most people should buy if they cook steak with any regularity — the sear burner is the difference between a grill mark and a crust.

Teppanyaki

A built-in teppanyaki surface in the same three finishes. Worth considering next to the grill rather than instead of it; a flat top and a grate cover almost everything a kitchen gets asked to do.

Completing the kitchen

• Cooking extras — double side burners in silver, black and white, a drop-in side burner, a griddle plate, a charcoal tray for the grill, and a built-in pizza oven.
• Storage — single access doors from 16 to 24 inches, double access doors from 26 to 38, door-and-drawer combinations at 30 and 36, a double storage drawer, single and double trash drawers, and a paper towel holder that is better than it sounds.
• Refrigeration and plumbing — an outdoor cooler and an outdoor sink.
• Bases and jackets — grill bases in 26, 32 and 38 inches for a freestanding setup, and insulating jackets from 22 to 38 inches for combustible enclosures.

Delta Heat or Twin Eagles?

Honestly: if you can see both on the floor, you will know within a minute which one you are. Twin Eagles has the hand-dressed welds and the weight; Delta Heat has most of the cooking performance at a position that lets the rest of the island be finished properly. Both are at our S Fort Apache showroom. We design, fabricate and install complete outdoor kitchens around either, and we sell to homeowners and contractors doing their own installation.
