Countertops & Surrounds
Outdoor Kitchen Countertops in Las Vegas
The counter is the surface your outdoor kitchen gets judged on — and the one the desert attacks hardest. We fabricate and install granite, Dekton, porcelain, and concrete countertops with stone or stucco surrounds, built for full sun exposure.
Countertop Surfaces
Materials That Handle Full Sun
Granite
The Las Vegas workhorse. Natural stone that shrugs off direct sun and grill heat, in a range of movement and color that suits almost any home.
Dekton & Porcelain
Ultra-compact surfaces with near-zero porosity. They resist UV fading, staining, and thermal shock better than almost anything else you can put outdoors.
Concrete
Poured and finished for a modern, monolithic look. Sealed for outdoor use and formed to whatever shape your island needs.
Tile
Cost-effective and endlessly variable. A good fit when you want the counter to echo a specific pattern or color already on the house.
BBQ Surrounds
Finishes That Match Your Home
Stacked stone
The most requested surround we build. Natural texture, plenty of color options, and it hides the wear a busy patio puts on an island.
Stucco
Matches the majority of Las Vegas homes directly. Clean, quiet, and the easiest way to make a new island look like it came with the house.
Porcelain tile
Large-format tile for a contemporary look, with grout lines minimized so there is less to clean around a working grill.
Brick and veneer
Traditional character for homes that call for it, laid over a weather-rated frame built to handle desert temperature swings.

Common Questions
Countertop & Surround FAQs
What is the best countertop for an outdoor kitchen in Las Vegas?
Granite and Dekton are what we specify most. Both handle direct sun without fading and take grill heat without scorching. Dekton and porcelain edge out granite on stain resistance; granite usually wins on price and on the variety of natural movement available.
Will my countertop fade or crack in the desert sun?
Not if the material is chosen for it. The failures we get called out to fix are almost always indoor-grade surfaces installed outside — engineered quartz in particular yellows and can delaminate under Las Vegas UV. Everything we install is rated for full exposure.
Do you fabricate the countertop yourself?
We template, fabricate, and install as part of the same build. Because the island is made in our own Las Vegas shop, the counter is cut to the island rather than the island being adjusted to fit a stock slab.
Can you replace just the countertop or surround on an existing BBQ island?
Yes. Re-topping an existing island or re-facing a dated surround is a common project and a fraction of the cost of a full rebuild. We will tell you honestly on site whether the existing frame is worth keeping.
How much do granite BBQ surrounds cost in Las Vegas?
It comes down to square footage, the material you pick, edge detail, and cutouts for the grill and any sink. We measure on site and give you an itemized quote so you can see exactly what the surface is costing versus the rest of the build.
What overhang do I need for bar seating?
Plan on about 12 inches of overhang for comfortable knee room at a raised bar, and support it properly — an unsupported stone overhang is the most common failure we get called to repair. We size the substructure for it during design.
